Stockholm - City of my Dreams
It all began with a relationship with a city in which I did not live but dreamt of living in. Then I lived in it but I did not paint it. First after moving away and returning ever so often, I painted the city, trying to capture its emotion, my emotion to it and my memory of it - from the balcony of my parents’ apartment in Sofia, its surroundings on Fåfängan and Slussen. This series of Stockholm images is ongoing, some pictures are not even finished yet - just the sketch on the canvas.
